Data collected

When you make a purchase: email address, name, country and chosen language. Bank card details are processed directly by Stripe and are never passed on to us.

Purpose

To fulfil your order, send the guide, give your Google account access to the map, reply to your messages and meet our accounting obligations. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legal obligations.

Recipients

Stripe (payment), Google (map hosting and sending emails), Netlify (website hosting). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR.

Retention period

For the duration of your access, then ten years for accounting records.

Place suggestions

If you suggest a place with the form on the website, we receive the information entered and your email if you provide it. It is used only to review the suggestion and reply to you. It is hosted by Netlify, our web host, and deleted no later than one year after receipt.

Trottimap news

If you bought the map, we may email you up to four times a year about the new places added to the map and the guide. To stop receiving these emails, simply reply STOP: your access to the map stays the same.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability: write to contact@trottimap.fr. Erasing your data ends your access to the map. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own servers.
